Full Service Sequencing
Price: $12 per reaction (includes cleaning)
Turn-Around Time: Typical turn-around time is 1-2 working days. Occasional delays may occur if we experience unusually heavy loads or equipment failure. Samples dropped off after 1:30 PM will be processed on the following day. Results are available on WebSeq, our online sequence retrieval system.
For Full Service Sequencing, we do the sequencing reaction. You provide a DNA template and any custom primers you wish to use. We use an annealing temperature of 50ºC in the sequencing reaction. We provide the universal primers: T7, M13F, M13R,SP6, BGHR, T3 and T7 Terminator.
Please allow 8µL of template and 3µL of primer for each reaction. Primer should be supplied in a separate tube at a concentration of 10µM. DNA samples and primers should be in 600 or 1000 µL eppendorf tubes and clearly labeled
Plasmid templates:
Supply at 200ng/µL for constructs of approximately 4Kb. As your template size increases concentration should be increased proportionally.
PCR templates:
Supply an undiluted aliquot of your reaction.
BAC templates:
Supply 1-2µg in approximately 10 µL volume.
Full Service sample collection takes place through out the day. Results for samples turned in by 1:30 PM are usually posted during the next business day. Results are available on WebSeq, our online sequence retrieval system. Results are posted as soon as they become available. You will not be notified when they are posted, but you may check the WebSeq on-line system at any time Be aware that samples are processed in batches so all your results may not be posted at the same time.
All sequencing is performed on a Biosystems 3730 Capillary DNA Analyzers.
